As far as FS goes, I use the off peak option, and used to have trouble. However,
they recently introduced a new number (mails pointed to a web site that doesn't
work with Amigas, but I rang tech support, told the guy that, before he went
into his scripted diagnostic spin, I was using an Amiga, quite capable of
setting up the TCPstack myself, and what info did I need. Without a problem, he
gave me the necessary details - total call time, 30 secs - a PC user would have
been on half an hour :o)
On the new number I consistently connect at 46666 first time.
I'd suggest giving them a call.
